Information about diving in Sri Lanka is scattered across operator websites, social media, travel pages and individual recommendations. Scuba.lk brings the useful parts together in one independent resource.
The aim is simple: help divers understand the seasons, discover dive sites, find local operators and learn more about the marine life beneath the surface.

Behind Scuba.lk
Built by a diver.
Scuba.lk was founded by Amila Udayanga, a Sri Lankan-born diver and underwater photographer based in Australia.
After years of diving and photographing marine life, the idea behind Scuba.lk grew from a simple problem: Sri Lanka deserves a dedicated diving resource that is broader than any individual dive centre, tour company or personal blog.
His underwater work focuses particularly on marine life and natural-history photography, with an emphasis on observing wildlife without manipulating animals or their habitat.

A platform designed to grow.
The first version of Scuba.lk focuses on the essentials: diving regions, dive sites, dive centres and marine life. Over time, the platform can expand into deeper site guides, underwater photography, practical travel information, community resources and carefully selected diving equipment and industry partnerships.
